Courtney,
My name is Scott Mintz and I work with Clark Robinson. Please dont worry about the delayed response, and we hope you enjoyed your travels.
As previously mentioned, our organization is called Project PM and is founded by author and Vanity Fair contributor Barrett Brown. Its members number about 90, and rising. The project's goals are multifaceted but the ultimate goal is to best utilize information technology along with our collective knowledge base to better the world in every aspect possible.
Along those lines, we'd like to improve the distribution of accurate and informative news, couple journalists with scientists in order to make useful information more readily available to the masses, and to help develop undeveloped regions of Africa with as much efficiency as attainable. We plan on increasing the number of sub-projects we undertake as our membership and capabilities expand.
Participants are from across the globe with varying skill sets and expertise. Members range from a former CIA Directorate of Operations and the current Director of the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education at Case Western Reserve, to a Project Manager specialized in Internet strategy and development for firms, such as the Mozilla Foundation and John Hopkins University, and a jazz guitarist turned award-winning blogger.
With all this said, when we came across your Nonprofit Awareness website and were very intrigued, as your site is an informative network of charities. We envision learning from and partnering with certain charities whose goals match our own. For example, certain charities are experienced in bringing drinkable water to small villages in Africa. Were confident your knowledge and expertise would be useful in these and other matters.
