Hello True/Slant legion and greetings from the Mountain Lair,

We're having a great April so far, and it's a credit to the great content you've all been producing on your blogs. Thank you all so much, and keep it up!

I'm writing to share with you all a document that has been prepared with the assistance of one of our interns, Chloe Angyal. Chloe documented a set of examples of common formatting problems we see with photos that are added to blog posts on our network. The document deftly moves through a set of examples of what not to do, and what to do instead. It's 9 pages of images that are very easy to digest and shouldn't take more than a few minutes of your time to review.

Remember, time we don't spend fixing formatting errors in blog posts is time we can spend focusing on things like generating editorial ideas and figuring out where to promote the great blog posts you're producing.

Also to that end, I've added two more documents - the 'story grab' memo and the general True/Slant style guidelines. All of you should have these already, but it's come to my attention that for whatever reason, some of you didn't receive these documents when you signed up with us. I regret that you might not all be on the same page in this regard, and I hope that receiving them now helps you going forward.

Please feel free to direct to me any questions you might have about the attached PDF documents.

Thank you,
