Hey, man-

Just wrote this. Have gotten a couple outlets interested in reviewing
these accumulated facts, but it's such an uphill battle to get real
attention to any of these things; HBGary got even the examination it
did because of the still-novel "TEEN HACKERS BEAT SECURITY COMPANY AND
ONE OF THEM IS PRETENDING TO BE 16" shit, plus a lot of combined media
outreach by several people with a lot of experience and contacts.

I was never that tremendous of a journalist when I still did that
"full-time," and only sometimes clever as a media critic/political
humorist/whatever, so it's not a huge thing, objectively, for me to
say that this is probably the most important thing I've had the
occasion to write, in terms of what it clarifies and in terms of the
important information that I've gotten much of from other activists
with things like Telecomix and Anon. Please do read it and send it to
anyone else you know who might perhaps be able to make use of the
links, facts therein. Obviously parts are silly but that's not the
fault of the people who just spent their day digging up tax filings,
merger papers, etc. Also, wanted to again just thank you in general
for the time you've given to all of this, as well as to myself and
many others; you were probably more personally responsible for
matching clients with pro bono folks than anyone else in the legal
community, and in a more just world you'd be getting tremendous
recognition for that whether you wanted it or not.
