Nope, you've thought that about a lot of things and never thought the
"Anon" stuff I talked about was going to end up opening any
opportunities, but in fact it opened up many of the best I've gotten,
including many I haven't yet pursued actively due to admitted
laziness. Again, I love you very much and you've done more than you
should have had to do, obviously, in terms of not just paying for my
upkeep but also dealing with rare, terrible things, like your only
child having significant substance abuse problems and visits from FBI,
plus the shit from dad on top of it all. I really admire you for that
and a lot of other things, and I love you a lot even if I'm not good
about showing it, but from now on I'm asking you to refrain from
providing me input about the individual options I pursue in the course
of my "public life." Obviously you can send me whatever you like, but
