Dear Spectator reader,
Thank you for making my day. I look to the headlines and what do I see, none other than the New York Times exposing the desperation the
Obama administration is driven. It seems that he has not squeezed enough funds from the pockets of Americans.
According to The Times, "The urgent and repeated appeals, sent to millions of Mr. Obama's supporters via e-mail and text messages, are a
vivid reminder that the president's campaign is likely to raise significantly less than Mitt Romney and Republicans for the third month in a
row."
For this I now must thank you. You have heard the call, and we strong, hard-hitting conservatives are sending him begging around town - selling
tickets to his own birthday party.
But, I am not cold-hearted; I too believe we should
give Obama a birthday present - even if we are not welcome at the festivities. Every chap deserves one. I already have the perfect gift in mind -
early retirement.
Would you chip in and help me wrap up Obama's present with a donation to The American Spectator Foundation?
Every dollar you give goes toward training more conservative minds - and exposing the meandering ways of the liberal left.
Contribute today and we can send Obama the
best birthday present the nation could receive - an early adieu to Obama!
Yours faithfully,
 R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr.
