KMFA's Summer Camp makes a radio show!
During the second week of June, six lucky 8th and 9th graders participated in "Kids Recording Kids," KMFA's annual summer camp. They learned on-air speaking techniques, how to record musicians performing live, radio interviewing skills, and editing and audio production techniques. Their efforts resulted in their very own radio show! Tune in on Sunday, August 26th, at 3pm to hear their program, featuring live performances from young musicians from the Austin Classical Guitar Society and Austin Chamber Music Center.
The 2012 KMFA Summer Camp was sponsored by the Austin Optimist Club, and we are so thankful for their assistance in making this year's radio summer camp a success!
