Two positions:
Proposal Writer:

Responsibilities Include:
- Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing and / or communications from an accredited university with a minimum of four to six years of related marketing, communications and business development experience. Experience in commercial real estate preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.
- Intermediate to advanced skill levels with various software programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Advance skills in Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Intermediate knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Web publishing experience preferred.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles in commercial real estate. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret commercial real estate documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
Business Development Writer:

Responsibilities Include:
- Multi-faceted position supporting national brokerage sales force with projects relating to high-profile and strategic new business pursuits and client marketing initiatives including presentation development, proposal writing, property marketing, collateral materials, etc.

Write key sections of RFP responses, including Executive Summary, Situation Analysis, Marketing Strategy, Market Analysis, etc.

Edit and harmonize full RFP response, ensuring that submissions meet requirements of RFP.

Conceptualize and direct development of new business presentations, including content development and organization.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as provide quality control for all deliverables produced.

Assist in development of other marketing materials, including white papers, collateral materials, marketing plans, etc.

Provide writing support for a range of marketing related deliverables, as needed, including research and content development for reports, brochures and presentations.
Requirements Include:
- 2-5 years experience in business development/marketing/communications.

Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree a plus

Must have strong written and verbal communications skills.

Proposal writing and coordination experience preferred.

Knowledge of commercial real estate desired.

Broad thinker who can conceptualize ideas and develop written narrative that supports strategy.

Ability to comprehend, interpret and communicate various types of information and statistics in a meaningful way.

Ability to provide strategic guidance, creative ideas and manage projects and team members from inception of a project to completion.

Ability to troubleshoot unforeseen obstacles, develop creative solutions and mitigate conflicts.

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-demand atmosphere and have proven success working in a team environment.

Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word and PowerPoint necessary. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.
