I appreciate that. I admit to being suspicious of everyone nowadays, and due to your involvement with Anonymous, that unfortunately includes you. It's kind of weird to me that you can't even spell his name right, even though he claimed to be a participant in some project that you had spearheaded, and you were very involved with the whole HB Gary thing, which Rauhauser claimed I was involved with -- a clear lie.

I also know you hate Stacy McCain and would be unlikely to take anything he writes at face value. So pardon me if I treat your email as possible social engineering. Again, if I'm wrong, chalk it up to a natural suspicion that has developed since I ran into Neal, Kimberlin, and his crew of serial harassers.

I welcome any morally proper, ethical, and legal help you can give me. I'm just very suspicious of anyone these days I don't personally know.

Patrick-

I've been following the developments on this Reahauser issue as it's
come up on Memeorandum over the last couple of weeks, and I want to
apologize to you for not having taken it more seriously when you
brought this up to me a while back. I saw your post on Reahauser and
his Twitter "activities" the other day, and just now saw this piece on
McCain's blog where he excerpts something Reahauser wrote in support
of persona management as a tactic, which is something I was not aware
of. I also saw the leaked e-mail in which Reahauser states that it was
likely one of his own Twitter participants that called in the false
911 call on this other person. As I've said to you before, I've never
really been fond of Neal and have only interacted with him on a few
occasions, such as when he sent me useful leads from the HBGary
e-mails and, previous to that, when he gave me vague information about
an individual known as th3j35t3r whom he worked with years ago and
with whom I'm in a sort of sporadic conflict. Nonetheless, as he's
clearly been involved in several of the exact sort of activities that
I oppose, and now that I've learned more about his "colleague" Brett
Kimberlin, I feel like I should at least let you know that you have my
support on this, for what it's worth. I don't know a whole lot that
would be useful to you beyond the couple of e-mails I forwarded to you
earlier, but if you have any questions about any of this, feel free to
ask me.
