Hi,

I know I pinged you a while on this and then disappeared. Sorry about that.

With all the misinformation about Anonymous, like that whacky article in the WSJ today about them potentially taking out a power grid, I feel like a reality check on what they can/will and can't/won't do is in order.

I'm not in a rush for this, though. Could we maybe talk next week?

Thanks, Sean

Hi,

Paul Wagenseil suggested I contact you. I run a general-interest site on technology - for people who are interested but not aficionados.

I"d like to provide them with a "101" on Anonymous - especially in light of the SOPA and MegaUpload attacks form last week - and the sneaky Twitter link.

The main thing I want to bring across: Is anonymous an organization? (Which, I know it's not.) I especially want to look at the differences of opinions on tactics - for example, pro or anti DDoS attacks, as well as duping people into launching a DDoS with that Twitter link.

Care to provide some perspective?

Thanks, Sean
