Hi Barrett,
Matt Liebowitz from SecurityNewsDaily (www.securitynewsdaily.com). I'm reading this Wall Street Journal story about the NSA warning that Anonymous could trigger a power outage with a cyberattack.
It sounds pretty alarmist and kind of overblown, but I wanted to get your take on it:
Is what the general describes here even possible?
Has Anonymous ever seriously threatened to knock out infrastructure?
How seriously should we take Anonymous' threat to "shut down the Internet"?
Is this an overreaction / fear mongering on the part of the government?
Do you think Anonymous is moving in a "more disruptive direction" as the article puts it?
Ok, thanks so much for your help. I'm looking to publish something in the next three hours or so.
Thanks again,
