Barrett, I have thought about you so much, but I feel slightly silly bombarding you with messages, even though I want to, when we are no longer involved in an intimate way. I still love you, always. You're my boy. I think about you every day.
And you are on heroin again. I can't help being afraid for you, Barrett. I want to hug you, stroke your hair and help you. I know you are strong, independent and single minded and you always will be and you have qualities that not even you realise you have.
If you must be on heroin please also take vitamin c and omega 3 and 9. Also zinc. You probably are not eating a thing. If you buy fresh juices they will contain most of the vitamins you need. Innocent smoothies, do you have those there? They are very good. Taste nice and easy to drink.
And when you get tired of writing play dwarf fortress or that other one where you get to be king of somewhere. Or President. Remember to breathe properly. Take deep slow breaths that lift the diaphragm with the air filling your lungs. This is great for helping your brain and making you feel more alert.
Please be careful. I'm trying to think of things they told us at school. Don't share needles. Also remember I love you. Can I send you a handwritten card? I would like to. Something so that you know I'm real and I care. If you don't want to send me your address I understand.
I will be looking out for Twitter attacks on your good name. I will slay those cowardly jealous dragons. You're the best Barrett. DON'T FORGET THAT.
Also I think I may have been mistaken regarding Anonymous Sabu. I don't think he is a danger to you. But I still think he's a dick.

It's nowhere near complete, which means I have to pull off a major feat. Luckily Amazon finally got around to paying me the $26,000 that was to be the first third of our "advance," so now I'm able to do heroin rather than suboxone and actually complete the book. Just a quickie to tell you I'm sorry I have not been in touch much lately. I have been working a lot, Jess had her birthday and I have become more involved with the Julian Assange debacle. Not in any helpful sense, in that I can't do much to get the Feds off his back. I suppose I have just woken up to the fact that he has been grossly misrepresented, maligned and mistreated by the law and by those authorities who increasingly seem to take their power for granted. Suffice to say I'm appalled at the injustice.
Anyway, that's part of what stimulates my mind, the other part is you. I think of you often. Always with love and gentleness and tenderness. I really do hope you're well and the book is going well. I'm here if you need anything.
