Robert: hey man
me: sup
Robert: how's life treating you? i follow your peregrinations through on various media outlets
Robert: yours is a complicated existence
me: and getting more complicated
Robert: nicely played, as long as you stay out of jail
me: jail would give me time to write
Robert: this is true. ask mailer.
Robert: what's keeping you busy right now?
me: tomorrow is first anniversary of Bahrain protests
me: Bahrain Center for Human Rights is asking for certain assistance
me: and a PR firm called Qorvis, which we've been investigating, is assisting that regime
Robert: yes, been following that a bit
me: a CNN reporter is investigating both
Robert: really fertile ground, the PR world
me: trying to get things taken down within next 48 hours
Robert: i was once in burston marsteller's offices in LA (circa 2000) and saw some INSANE memos laying around
me: but hackers are busy with several other things that will come into play tomorrow
me: I'll bet
Robert: greece?
me: that's playing out publicly
me: these are domestic targets
me: and it's mostly DDOS on Greece, keeping gov't sites down, etc
Robert: ah.
me: it's taking up a lot of oxygen
me: things have been accelerating a lot
Robert: hacktivism seems to be getting stronger not weaker
me: and Syria, lots are busy with that
me: yep, and more involved with the physical outbursts in Greece, Syria, etc
me: even compared to a year ago with North Africa
Robert: i know, and despite govt attempts to shut it down in UK and US
me: yeah, they're having a hard time keeping their investigation secret
me: you probably heard about the FBI Scotland yard phone conference that was recorded and leaked
me: that fucked up a couple of their cases, gave defense attorneys new ammo in both U.K. and U.S.
Robert: that was hilarious
Robert: as was the congressman leading SOPA who had non copyrighted material on his site
me: Lamar Smith?
Robert: no, i don't think so. other smith.
Robert: lamar is a senator i think. or maybe yes.
Robert: whatever, if a republican talking about the internet than probably a douchebag
Robert: similar to your average democratic politician.
me: yeah, we're assessing which of the Democrats who support these things are most vulnerable
me: OpDonkeyPunch
Robert: nice!!!!
Robert: so much win right there
me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lXau4TDt7M
