Barrett, I'll let you respond. But please keep in mind what happened last time we gave them a 'revised' outline... Whatever you give her really needs to represent a fresh recap, with no assumptions that she'll fill in what seem like obvious gaps. Make sure to say, in every chapter e.g., what Gregg's role is, and to emphasize, repeatedly, that this new entity is first-person--so that even if the content of Chapter X is (roughly) identical to what it was in the original outline, you need to frame it from the perspective of the Gregg Eye / I.
Sorry to be so pointed about this, but I just want you to resist the urge to cut-and-paste. Every time she DOESN'T get on board with a next step, the process moves backwards instead of forwards, which is a drag for all parties. So please let's make every effort to make this new iteration look completely fresh and representative of what it is you know, from our conversations etc, that she wants/ needs to see.

Can you get me an updated TOC that by January 27th? The goal is to give us a clear picture of what scenes whill be the focal point of each chapter. We also need to get a flavor of the first person element.
