Hi Barrett,

Well this is me. Freelance journalist / writer / commentator / producer based mostly in and near Sydney, Australia, but right now in Melbourne for a few days after covering Linux.conf.au in Ballarat and then the War on the Internet forum with Jacob Appelbaum and a bunch of relevant Australians on the weekend.

About 75% of what I cover is related infosec / cybercrime / cyberwar / privacy. The rest is anything in or near the intersection of the internet, politics and media. And my personal background, apart from a media career, is computing science, network admin etc.

The "Patch Monday" podcast tends to cover that territory.
