I'd like to identify other online communities to target. me: more can be done on reddit David: Reddit's signal detection system is pretty good, and the community seems to be training itself up fairly quick David: I do have an account there though. It's harder to game - SA's a simple 'bump = move to the top' system. David: the fact that Reddit was the second community (after Anonymous) to overcome the Bystander Effect is huge. The internet has been very powerful for a decade, it just didn't do anything with that power because of the bystander effect David: overcoming apathy, nihilism, and cynicism is the challenge of our day David: and this isn't the first time in history that those were the dominant forces undermining progress.
