Hi,

I'm pretty noob when it comes to computers, but downloaded Icechat and wrote irc.project-pm.org in the box which says: "Connect to server and join channel". Then I got a window which said: "[21:28] ->> You joined channel #irc.project-pm.org" But where do I go from here? How do I find you? My nick is AndreasWinsnes. Is that secure or should I change it?

Let me just say that LAW is an open debate about legal and ethical principles, so personally I have no need to hide.

Best regards,

Andreas Winsnes

Hi,

My name is Andreas Winsnes. I am writing a PhD thesis which argues that the ethical and judicial rules of self-defence and necessity can justify militant operations against billionaires and multinational companies that oppress poor people in developing countries. I have created a website, defence.nu, based on this work.

After writing the thesis I was offered a job at the faculty of law, University of Oslo, so the thesis is well written, but the Norwegian Police Security Service have contacted me and I worry that authorities or hackers might try to close down the website when I go public with it. I don't know much about computers, but I will really appreciate it if you know anyone who can help me secure that a scientific debate about this topic is not banned on the internet, by creating mirror sites for example. Thanks in advance!

Yours sincerely,

Andreas Winsnes
