I'm completing what I can on the second chapter with what I have from Gregg so far, with the intent of sending the bulk of it to you this weekend so that you can send to Julia and calm her down; then I'll move back to one of the other chapters while I wait for Gregg to arrive, at which point we'll top off second chapter with material on his warez days and then move on to three, which will begin with Gregg in jail.

What's been going on since I spoke w/ Gregg on Tuesday? Have you guys made any headway? Please give me an update.
Ben Haber (the film producer) said he'd want a full year's exclusivity if he writes up a brief doc to use to pitch the project to studios with--a full year's exclusivity without a penny down as an option fee. To me this is a non-starter; with your permission I'd like to advise Matt Snyder to say, thanks but no thanks: you can have a three month exclusive for free in exchange for working up a treatment, at which point the manuscript will be shopped, or he can simply wait and see the ms when everybody else does. There's no advantage to our giving him a free exclusive option.
I'm working on getting the contract & money as soon as possible--though still not soon enough, obviously.
Gregg, I've had no response from the German lady.
