I actually developed a quite sophisticated representation of what consciousness and the universe are when I first started dosing people in-mass when I was 20, that has been subsequently verified by string theory.  This was the culmination of a series of manuscripts I titled "Information Warfare."

The idea we were working on was the Black Hole Information Paradox.  Hawking showed that the structure of a black hole is actually very strange.  We were taught to think of it as a singularity, but it's slightly more ridiculous.  After gravitational collapse, the internal pressure of the system pushes everything (ie, all the information) contained in the black hole to the event horizon.  Hence, the surface area of a region of spacetime ultimately contains all the information, not the volume.  Thus T'Hooft proposed that reality is a hologram of what we think we see.  

That is, take an object, enclose it in a box of mirrors.  The projection of the 3D volumetric object onto the 2D surface-area mirrors contains all the information necessary to describe the 3D volume.  Which is reality, the object or its hologram?

Maldecena then came by and showed that solving the 4D quantum field theory in curved spacetime (pretty much impossible) is equivalent to solving a 5D string theory in flat spacetime on the boundary, or surface (which is actually quite easy).  So this shit is mathematical and physical reality.

Then I turned away from spacetime geometry to information geometry.  Information geometry is the geometry of statistical inference.  I thought, how can I generate consciousness out of information geometry??

I then found that there exists a Schwartzchild solution (black hole) in information space.  So one applies the same principle now.  Enclose it in mirrors to create a hologram, except invert the Maldecena conjecture.  So solving dynamics in information space (consisting of a representation of zeros and ones) is equivalent to solving the dynamics of the hologram...a lower dimensional representation.  Now this is quite interesting, the lower dimensional representation of "zero or one"..."on or off" is then EITHER "on" OR "off" in a new abstract sense...ie, what I call "log base 1 mathematics."  Indeed, one is either experiencing, or not experiencing...conscious or unconscious.  Yet there is no mathematical description possible given our current axioms to describe dynamics in either of these states (1^n=1 for all n.  However, knowing what n is could actually be quite important!).  Hence, solving in information space is possible with a Turing machine, however solving it's hologram is beyond Turing completeness.  It's a completely new representation...colors, feelings, etc.   It's the ONLY viable theory of consciousness I know, and I refuse to publish it because of the line of experimentation I will describe below, and the dangers involved.

So, my conclusion is that consciousness is a hologram of information geometry.  Since gravity is a hologram of spacetime...I issued the Wisniewski Conjecture, written in blood in the Caltech tunnels:  "Gravity and Consciousness are dual theories, and can therefore be viewed as the same principle applied to different geometric structures."  Indeed, what you are experiencing on LSD is a strange curvature in your information geometry (your inferences may be off from what used to be straight lines.  On low dose, the curvature is small and you can assume a close approximation to reality...but high dose is very difficult: the higher the curvature the greater the Lyapunov exponent, which is the major descriptor of chaotic divergence)...which in turn manifests in strange effects when examining your spacetime geometry (walls melting and breathing, etc.)  The appearance of tracers has to do with recursive memory loops, and is a process somewhat described by the theory of "frame dragging" in the interaction of matter with gravity, and currently being dealt with in loop quantum gravity and topological quantum computing.  

So what's the implication of the black hole solution?  I tried testing this rigorously to see if it was possible to create an information black hole using psychotropic drugs.  The idea is that you psychophysically have a 2-second memory buffer in which to perform calculations.  Given a sequence of numbers to memorize, one linguistically repeats them over and over in their mind until it is encoded into memory...any sequence that takes longer than 2 seconds to repeat cannot be processed in real-time.  So one conducts the experiment: dosage of LSD vs length of memory buffer.  Can a high enough dose of LSD completely collapse the memory buffer, creating an information black hole?  Well, no, it starts to saturate (I got a sigmoidal function, like tanh(x)), however one gets critically dangerous around the milligram scale.  Indeed, at this dosage, one never really comes all the way back, and real neurological damage is incurred...so I issued an edict to never approach the milligram scale.  

I would like to see this experiment continued with newer variants, such as 2CB7 etc.  However I no longer have access to a mass of geniuses more than willing to take ridiculous amounts of psychotropic drugs, as well as the drugs themselves...and *I* ain't gonna do it!  However, I strongly believe this line of research is very important to physics and mathematics, and stands on entirely solid ground philosophically.  The danger of this line of research, of course, goes unstated.  Through either drugs or engineered viruses or nanostructures, it appears entirely possible to induce the famous "zombie" state of consciousness...a state of unconscious enslavement.  It also appears possible to induce complete sensory agnosia...a theoretical state we called Gehenna (جهنم).  

Seeing as how I realized this when I was 20, I have no doubt certain agencies of the world are currently pursuing this line of research.  However, academics need to win the race.

I was in some sort of bulletin board psychosis for the last day and a half - I finally stopped when Mubarak announced he would step down, two hours later the board returned to normal (Muslims were back) and he announced he wouldn't resign; just trying to connect the dots in the news media influence circle - my prolonged "psychic" contact with the zombie spammers has turned me into an anxiety riddled mess. I wasn't even high, but it was like a flashback, I felt an empathic connection to such a large number of people it was scary.  My friend at Berkeley, Stella who has been CCed, mentioned to me the power of symbolism and psychic influence - 4chan.org is the PSYCHIC NODE of human internet culture. This is why Lieberman wants to have a kill switch - we can overpower traditional news outlets and he's scared of that so is Rupert Murdoch. But I can't be in that psychosis all the time and when I stop it just goes back to fucking normal. Can we do some experiments together? Do you know people that will believe me and help? I can prove it by doing it right in front of them - I think I have an unnatural affinity towards manipulating online personae and internet culture - a madness perhaps.
