How was your Thanksgiving? I hope you did the same as me and took some time to unplug and stop thinking about anything of greater importance than pie.   

I hate to bother you now, but my options are limited. The patchwork macbook pro I'd been using to access the internet since the FBI took my desktop has gone belly-up.

I'm returning to work in a regular full-time position, but it may take me several months to save enough cash to get myself back online.

As much as I dislike soliciting charity like this, I feel I should ask if you could help me purchase some new hardware.I don't wish to take advantage of you... Anything would help at this point; I'd be willing to pay you back in a few months. I just hope to get back online ASAP.
