Dear Mr. Brown: thanks for your time today. It was interesting talking with you. Here's the quick news hit I wrote today on the blogger murder this week.

As I mentioned, I want to write a longer piece on the information war in Mexico, maybe next week.
Do you think any of the Mexcian anons might be interested in being interviewed (pref in english) via email or skype about they way they see all this?
Please let me know what you think. I'll be in touch. As I said, you were very thought provoking, especially about the obligations that fall on those of us in the information business on this side of the border.
I'm not much of a joiner, and I don't speak spanish or have any special skills other than some journalistic ones but I might have something to offer: I have some sources in the defense and national security machine here, and just being in DC and on that beat means I can sometimes confirm a piece of information ... or at least find out what the govt is prepared to say about it.
If that might be useful, let me know, and we can talk further.
