Thank you again for chatting with me, Barrett. I just wanted to confirm a couple of details as I had a bit of a hard time hearing you on the phone. You said that on November 5, Anonymous is going to release over 60 names of people who have collaborated with the Zetas cartel? Also, what was the details about the U.S. district attorney who's among them? In my notes I wrote down that you said he'd "done some work with the Zetas cartel" Is that fair to say? Thanks again!AdamOn Nov 3, 2011, at 12:39 PM, Barrett Brown wrote:No problem, give me a call at 512-560-2302.On Thu, Nov 3, 2011 at 11:15 AM, Adam Clark Estes <adamclarkestes@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi Barrett.
I cover tech and media including a lot of Anonymous news for the Atlantic and wonder if you might be willing to chat about Operation Cartel for a story I'm working on. Your thoughtful YouTube video gave me a good sense of how the op is important and seems fairly definitive in reiterating Anonymous's commitment to pushing ahead. I'm mostly curious in how the story that they were backing down was (mis-?)reported by the media.
Happy to chat on the phone or over email depending on your preference. I'm working on getting my story finished within the next hour or so and would love to include your perspective.
Best.
Adam
