Guys-
This is Barrett Brown; a couple of you are probably familiar with me. I'll
be co-authoring a book for release next year on Anonymous that will
necessarily cover a portion of your industry and, of course, Team Themis. As
I'll be writing about the subject anyway and have learned more about it from
two people close to your firm, I wanted to suggest to each of you that you
provide me with any information you'd like to get out about Berico,
Palantir, and congruent firms, any capabilities that might be used for
disinformation, any particular people that are of interest or just piss you
off. You can do so off the record - and I've respected anonymity in sources
throughout my career, with one exception. Or you can send me info entirely
anonymously by e-mailing me from a dummy account. As I've sent this to
several of you and have sent similar messages to other small groups of
employees involved in things close to you, no one will know anything I print
is from you personally. I've done this recently with two folks at another
firm, and it seems to work, so you can understand why I'm bothering you all
about it. Give it some thought.
I'll also note that although I'm obviously coming at this from an
adversarial role, all I really want is information about any dangerous
capabilities that the industry is producing. Likely you don't consider them
to be dangerous, so I won't try to argue the case, but at any rate that's
why I've been bothering some of your colleagues.

Barrett Brown
