Hey, Barrett—
It’s the Jewish New Year so the office is officially closed—but the short answer is that I can ask my bosses once we have a draft of
the contract in hand. Usually they want a SIGNED contract, but I’ll try to get it faster; also, I’ve impressed upon Julia Cheiffetz, the editor, that speed is of the essence in terms of contracts.
I’m cc’ing Stephen here too—we’ll stay on top of this, and let you know as soon as…

Will do. Also, now that we've got money flowing, is there any chance writer's house could give me a loan like you mentioned the other day?

That's a pretty rinky-dink outfit, but I figured I'd send them along anyway. Should I continue forwarding those sorts of inquiries to you or should I send them to the

Dear Dan,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as Christopher Tuffin's assistant; pleasure to meet you via email. Chris has asked me to assist in setting a call between the two of you regarding the film rights to the book Barrett Brown is writing
about Anonymous. Chris has a very busy month ahead of him as he is getting married next week, but was hoping to speak in November. His schedule is fairly open the week of November 1st. Can you please send your availabilities for that week?
Best,
RJ

Hi. The film rights are being handled by an agency in LA that our literary agent has brought in; we still hold them. I'm cc'ing that agent, Dan Conaway.

Dear Barrett,
Thank you for getting in touch with me and providing this information. My boss, film producer Christopher Tuffin, has asked me to inquire as to who, if anyone, has the feature film rights to the book you are writing about Anonymous? Please let me know.
Thank you,
RJ
