So SMP likes the new stuff—see below.  I have a call in to Parsley, will let you know what I hear.  Stephen Morrow was running out the door, promised to speak w/ me tomorrow.  Clive Priddle confirmed that he’ll be bidding.

This is really good.  A little jargony still, but much more in the spirit of what we’d envisioned.  I’m sharing with colleagues.  Will be back in touch ASAP.

Thanks,

Y

Hey, Yaniv—

Good talking just now.  As promised, here’s the sample Gregg and Barrett wrote to (hopefully) give you a clearer sense of what the voice of the book—a book focused much more clearly on Gregg and his lens, and not trying to be encyclopedic or journalistic per se—would be.  Obviously this was done quickly, on the fly—basically they knocked this out last night, before Gregg headed back up to Boston.  But I like it, like how it drills down to give a more moment-by-moment sense of how the CoS ‘op’ come together, and also what it meant.

Hope this helps.  Let me know what you think of this, will you?

Thanks—

Dan
