But of course! The complete and detailed schedule is below (if anyone would like more info, just let me know), and as for kickoff on Monday,
Dan, Public Affairs is actually right around the corner from the Random House building (specifically, 57th Street at Eighth Avenue), so the Starbucks on the corner of 54th and Broadway sounds like a safe bet to me, yes?
I’ll be here if any questions arise!
Sincerely,
Stephen

Looks like we're going to be having seven publisher meetings--we're potentially shifting a thing or two around, but right now it
looks like a really busy day (five meets) monday and more relaxed on Tuesday (two)
Stephen, can you lay out the schedule w/ all the deets sometime later this afternoon, so Gregg and Barrett have all the specifics?
Also, SB, I'm not actually clear on where Public Affairs is, so can you find us a Starbucks nearby where we'll all meet up before hand?
Thanks--
Dan

Everything's off the record. I'm talking to him about NBC doing a story on one of the firms my group has been investigating;
it wouldn't involve any televised interviews with me, nor would my name come up.
Finishing up chapter outline; any news on the remaining publishers?

Cool, but: Question is, is this on-the-record or off? And if he knows abt book, make sure that's OFF the record, cuz you want to control
how and when that info is released...
Re NBC, definitely want to be cagey about timing of serious interviews while we figure out timing of book...

Hey Barrett- this is pretty amusing. You know who did this?
By the way,
Let me know your availability. Might even be able to take you up to see the brass at NBC.

Ellen McCarthy, President of INSA commented, “Due to the nature of our business, INSA takes security very seriously. We regularly review and take steps
to ensure the security of our computer system and membership databases. We are outraged that someone finds it sporting to make private organizational data public, but we are not naïve. It is not a coincidence that this incident happened just two days after
INSA’s Cyber Security Council released a report documenting the need for government and the private sector to begin to work together to solve our nations cyber security vulnerabilities.”
INSA continues to investigate the exact nature of this security breach and is taking steps to re-establish the security of its system. McCarthy further
commented, “We are working with INSA member companies, who represent the best in the field on security, to ensure that we are protected going forward and that this never happens again.”
On Monday, September 12, the release of INSA Cyber Council’s most recent white paper, “Cyber Intelligence: Setting the Landscape for an Emerging

Speaking about Wednesday’s hacking incident, Ellen McCarthy further commented, “This incident perfectly illustrates the needs outlined
in our paper. Over 90% of the telecommunications infrastructure is held in the private sector. The question then becomes how does the government facilitate the sharing of threat information with the private sector in order to protect that infrastructure?”
