Sorry it's been a while; had a lot on my mind and been busy with the book proposal. Topiary was arrested today, in Scotland, as it turns out. Gawker ran the logs I gave them last month of him telling me he used my number on illicit credit cards, which I gave them in order to protect myself from being associated with that. It's a shame he's gone down, but between that and Avunit trying to get you to provide a number without telling you what it was for, on top of the other things they decided to do to hurt innocents, I can't say I feel that bad for any of them. Meanwhile, another person who came to me for legal assistance actually cooperated with the FBI, allowing them to install a device on his computer and telling him to carry on with Anonymous; the activist lawyer's we assembled in California won't touch it but the National Lawyer's Guild will probably help him out. All in all, the problem with Anonymous is that it also attracts people who are essentially trolls and discredits everyone else's efforts.
Anyway, I've gotten an offer by Judith Regan, the wacky celebrity publisher, to do a book from my standpoint, so if the book with Housh doesn't work out for some reason, I'm still guaranteed to grab a big advance soon, at which point I'll come over there and fuck you.
