I really don't do events for the most part, the exception being a rally/press conference I spoke at in NYC last April regarding Bradley Manning. Mostly my participation in all of this is via phone, IRC, Skype, tinychat, etc, as is true for pretty much everyone else involved. I do have an interesting collection of phone recordings with execs of intelligence contracting firms whom I've called up to ask about such things as Romas/COIN, persona management, or who have called me, but otherwise I don't have much to offer in terms of good television.

For exemple im going to DEF CON 19 at the beginning of August... Is it the type of stuff you do? Do you know anybody going there?

Hello Barrett,

My name is Etienne Truchot, I am a journalist for French National TV CANAL+. I work for a weekly show called 'L'Effet Papillon" (The Butterfly Effet) which deals with global issues having local impacts. I am currently preparing a 15min story about "hacktivism". I read quite extensively about you, your past involvement in Anonymous, and your work investigating HBGary's actions for the US government. I would really appreciate if you could be part of my story.
