Aaron Barr to Bryan Masterson of Xetron: "But they are awfully cagey about their data. They keep telling me that if their name gets out in the press they are done. Why?"
CEO Chris Rouland to employee John Farrell: "Please let HBgary know we don't ever want to see our name in a press release."
John Farrell to Aaron Barr: "Chris wanted me to pass this along. We've been very careful NOT to have public face on our company. Please ensure Palantir and your other partners understand we're purposefully trying to maintain a very low profile. Chris is very cautious based on feedback we've received from our government clients. If you want to reconsider working with us based on this, we fully understand."
Aaron Barr to John Farrell: "I will make sure your [sic] a 'silent' partner and will ensure we are careful about such sensitivities going forward."
Pls do send me endgame material. Not heard of this before now.

Subject: Re: LulzsecHaving known them for a while and worked closely with a couple of them on HBGary and other Anonymous efforts, and in light of what they've been tweeting, I would imagine they're irritated with the fact that the great deal of data and clues they've put out have been ignored by the media in favor of speculation as to their identities, which is of far less importance than the info they've put out. These are the same guys who stole 70,000 e-mails from HBGary which themselves still contain a great deal of information about the intelligence contracting industry, and from which I was able to determine details about Romas/COIN. The last time I spoke to Topiary, the fellow who writes most of their tweets, he had come by my IRC to ask me if I had found anything interesting in the 1,000 additional e-mails they'd stolen from Unveillance, another contractor; I told him there was some additional information in there about Endgame Systems, which - as Lulzsec and I have both pointed out on our respective twitter feeds - is actively seeking to avoid any media scrutiny about some of the things the firm is doing for the U.S. government. If you'd like, I can provide you with some of the specific e-mails they've obtained that reveal that Apple, Google, and Disney/Pixar have been assisting intelligence contractors and the U.S. intelligence establishment in the creation of advanced social networking surveillance/data mining capabilities - something that has received almost no attention from the U.S. media since I released my report a few days ago. But I'm not going to talk about the personalities behind Lulzsec any further until the media addresses the significant revelations that have come from the information they've obtained over the past six months.
