Hey Everyone,

The good news:  Oliver Miller's amazing piece on working for AOL has gone viral and we're breaking all sorts of TFT traffic records. From Friday to Sunday we had  96,886 visits and 120,468 pageviews. We've also picked up more than 300 new FB fans. I expect the traffic to remain unusually high in the week ahead, so if you haven't posted in a while, it's a great time to get going again.

More good news: We  made some important upgrades to our servers in the last week. If you log out and click around, The Faster Times should now be much faster.

Less good news: The adjustments to the server have caused some technical problems that we're still trying to work out. The basic issue is that the site might take as long as 15 minutes to show any updates you've made to your articles. So, for example, if you "save" or "publish" a post and then go back and make a change to the text or a photo, you won't always see the changes you made right away. This can be especially tricky if you use the "preview" button, as the preview might not reflect the latest changes you've made.

Until we get this worked out, I think the best approach is to do as much writing and editing as  possible off site and then to copy and paste into Wordpress. A few people have also had issues logging in. If you have any problems accessing your dashboard, please email Anna and let us know: anna.pamela@gmail.com

We've also run into some problems with the comments. We're fixing this one by switching every section over to the Disqus comments system -- which is actually much better than our old system. If your section doesn't yet have Disqus comments, you should see the change in the next week.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

P.S. Don't forget: Softball vs. Vanity Fair on Tuesday. Feel free to come and hang out if you don't want to play. In case you need any inspiration:
