The fact is that I know Topiary my days with Anonymous, when we worked together on various things in the aftermath of HBGary, but one of the reasons I left Anonymous in the first place is that I didn't want to be linked to anything that someone associated with the collective might do that I might not approve of, and neither I nor the people I work with now at my Project PM venue are happy with what Lulzsec is doing. The guys who run Lulzsec are prominent Anons themselves who simply broke off a while back to do their own thing but who still retain connections to Anonymous, so it looks like they simply put out a press release. Some number of Anons will join them, others won't. Personally I'm glad to see that they're going after legitimate state targets again rather than merely causing trouble for private individuals.
