Hey Barrett,Great talking to you the other day, really appreciate your help in explaining this to me. I've transcribed the interview and I'd quite like to follow up on some of the things at some point. Before we do that though, a couple of things, if that's all right:- having trouble connecting to http://irc.project-pm.org/ - is that me, or has the site moved/changed?- did you have a chance to contact Gregg Housh - would you feel comfortable e-introducing us, or something? I'd love to have a chat with him at some point if possible? It seems Anonymous is attracting a world of attention right now - in Spain, the Ben Bernanke thing, the statements from the Pentagon... I expect your phone is ringing these days!Hope you're well. Speak soon,Sanjiv[Esquire UK]On Sun, Jun 12, 2011 at 7:27 PM, Barrett Brown <barriticus@gmail.com> wrote:

Dear Barrett,
Im writing on behalf of Esquire Magazine (UK) about Anonymous. Ive been commissioned to write a feature about the movement - if thats the right way to describe it? - and I wanted to ask for your help and guidance.
I know youve done a lot of this over the years, though it seems youve stopped recently on account of the Sony thing?
Ive read the profile in D magazine and a number of your pieces for the Guardian and the Huffington Post. Id be interested in speaking to you in whatever capacity you feel comfortable - as someone with a prior connection with Anonymous or however you would like to characterize it. Clearly you know a great deal more than I do, and you have had an extraordinary writing career yourself it seems.
I must say, I love Anonymous, from what I know of it. It makes me cheer out loud. So Im anxious to portray it correctly, to understand how it has been misrepresented in the past (Sony?) and how it has evolved in its relatively short existence. Im also trying to get in touch with Gregg Housh. Ultimately, Id like to get as close as possible to Anonymouss activities, to see a ddos attack through from inception to execution.
I hope you receive this message and get a chance to contact me. Im based in LA but perhaps we can skype or speak on the phone? Thanks so much for your consideration.
Best,
Sanjiv Bhattacharya
