A rough set of guidelines to get you and new #OpDarknet participants started.

If we think about what #OpDarknet stands for … we can realize that there are at LEAST two things necessary to help the Darknet grow...
Connecting users (to I2P and or Community).
and
Retaining users (to I2P and or Community).
It's all fine and well to get people connected … but getting connected and -staying- connected… (and/or frequenting), are not the same thing. Therefore--- to reduce the chances of new users just 'trying' I2P out… 'getting bored' and removing I2P because it's not as 'fast' or 'large' as the regular internet (or whatever excuse one could possibly conjure up)… it is also a good idea to develop methods and strategies that demonstrate the benefits of not only using I2P (the software)… but being CONNECTED to I2P (the community/darknet).
That being said… not everything about #OpDarknet needs to be directly about "privacy" and things like "decentralization"… these are just the obvious underlying themes and primary objectives. So… as long as you are taking action towards at least one of the two primary objectives: (Connecting and or Retaining users)…. you know you are being of GREAT value to #OpDarknet … and I2P collectively benefits from your actions! Think about what YOU like about I2P… in what ways can you share it with others? Be creative, and safe.
Maybe you can spread the word about the darknet and it's benefits easily.
Maybe you are a programmer and can develop something for I2P… or something to make I2P even more user/newb-friendly.
Maybe you are skilled at making media, and want to make an #OpDarknet trailer/explanation/advertisement...
Maybe you are a musician and can help with that media's soundtrack…
Maybe you're a graphic designer and can create a meaningful picture…
Maybe you're good at coming up with ideas and can add to this document…
Think about what you can bring to the table… so to speak.
Keep in mind that there is a balance that must be achieved here. If everyone focuses only on RETAINING people, there won't be much (rapid) growth in network size… If everyone focuses only on CONNECTING people, then the community growth may happen quickly, but leave just as quickly due to lack of direction.
If you have nothing to do, or nothing in mind at first… you might want to take a glimpse at the lists below to get an idea on which way YOU can be most valuable to #OpDarknet.

Pastebay advertising:
-Pastebay.org shows the most recent 'pastes' by anyone. Keep ONE (so as not to be overly spamming) post by "#OpDarknet" or something visible to everyone on the left side of the page, and anyone who uses pastebay and is curious/snoopy can click it… and read the #opdarknet PR/Message. Check in every 2 hours or so to see if is still visible on the side of the page)… if not, repost it… Visitors of Pastebay (and the like) are good candidates for being interested in #OpDarknet as they already are aware (to some degree) of censorship/monitoring.
Flicker/Flash Advertising.
What do I mean by this? I mean, to infect (typically already or pre-viral) media with "information trojan-horses"… by splicing a single framed image (that 'flickers' or 'flashes' ONCE as quickly as possible) after the video's content is completed.
This technique utilizes 'curiosity' as a means to direct the viewers attention towards the desired message/communication. It is unobtrusive because it is just a flash and does not interfere with the original context of the video… and it may make the viewing of the advertisement more acceptable because it is completely optional to the viewer to spend more than a 'flash'… observing it.
If the video viewer sees the flash… the viewer may wonder what it is and 'freeze frame' the video to view it. Message delivered.
If the video viewer doesn't see the flash… the viewer still has potential of benefitting #OpDarknet (or whatever the message is aimed at), by linking the meme to someone else who may see the flash and freeze-frame it… and or link it to someone else who may do the same.
People who pay enough attention to freeze-frame a suspicious flash, may also be more likely to appreciate and benefit from the #OpDarknet message…and even deliberately start spreading it. The more quickly you can make the information flash, the more likely it can spread 'under the radar' so to say… a high frame-rate video is good for this purpose. Ideally, no one will really notice the flash until the video is sufficiently spread around. Spreading the video's via torrenting is a good idea, as it requires each person to have their own copy rather than just streaming it from a central location which could be 'removed' or 'censored' (as 'anon' stuff has tended to tended to be).
Try to censor the star wars kid… or the numa-numa guy…
how about that rebecca black 'friday' song… try to shut that up!
You do not want to be censored?… then attach your message to things that can not be… no matter how hard one tries. And ad you splice in may continue to make an impact… even 10 years from now because that gets spread around so easily…
This technique is not limited to memes, of course… splice it at the end or beginning of the credits of a film that gets pirated/spread around…be creative.
Ideally, even though it's just a flicker and a flash… it may be a good idea to explain (and maybe even apologize for) why it was necessary to trick them into viewing your message. :)

1. Having a set of general guidelines to refer to and stay relatively focused. Mind you, these are not rules and should not be enforced as such.
2. Become familiar/friendly with your I2P peers… participate in chats.
3. Entertainment (things like #trivia, #irpg, etc… enjoyable chats.. every little bit helps build community)
4. Uniqueness. Provide a service/eepsite/information that is only offered/available over I2P…
5. Show new users around… of course they can RTFM…but having things explained and conveniently hyperlinked is also a nice welcome if you're not doing anything else. You also might indirectly (and without additional effort)… teach other lurkers/listeners something new… they might teach to someone else.

AND REMEMBER
If you bring just ONE person to the I2P network/community… that's *infinitely* better than none. And in addition to that infinity… that one person might bring 10 people… or just one person…who may do the same or more.
