Spearheaded by the WikiLeaks disclosures, the information transparency cyber-activists from around the world provide critical support to the developing democratic uprisings across North Africa, Spain, Greece, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria (a partial list) the journalist and polemicist Barrett Brown has reported on it.
Here's a thorny prediction to the older dissidents on this list, from my country curmudgeon headquarters in Kansas, and to those veterans of the empire's failed conquests. Barrett Brown may very well be looked upon after this decade passes, with the same appreciation as many of us look upon the literary icons of the sixties' counterculture.
I am sure many of you will disagree at this point in time.
