It might help asking your therapist (or whatever colleague you respect) to help you come up with a Plan of Action.

I always ask friends, therapist or whatever mentor for help coming up with that when I feel really overwhelmed. It relieves stress because you're able to better focus on what you're doing and how to go about making sure you're on the right track to attaining your goals :)

Everyone needs help with that every once in a while. When you're feeling super overwhelmed, maybe take a break and call up a colleague/professional/buddy you respect and ask for their advice on how to better organize and formulate your plan of action. It will help you recollect your thoughts and be able to approach your work more calmly and efficiently. It helps prevent distractions from feeling so bombarding and helps your ability to focus on the tasks at hand.

Also, reaching out to people to help better "organize your life" ALWAYS helps when feeling overwhelmed. lol I have to do it every once in a while. Haha, I was talking with Damon and Duncan about that like all of last week, and it was just till Wednesday that I figured out my game plan (focus on health, move later, school, etc). Actually, I think I pretty much regularly consult with Duncan on all of that, hahaha. Interestingly, he just got on Adderall.

:) Everything's going to be okay <3

When you have a moment, read this:
http://www.publicspace.net/download/Vitamin_R_User_Manual.pdf

The program isn't really necessary (I rarely run it on my comp) but reading that manual actually helped me the most with me being able to organize all my shit. I was able to understand *why* and how disorganization, inability to focus and procrastination happens.

Also, know that everyone struggles with this at work - especially freelancers. It's a task in itself to project manage yourself lol

The thing that really helps best with this is to know that you're not alone, it's completely normal, not a reflection of your character or competency, and that it is perfectly normal and beneficial to ask for help on all this stuff. lol project managing yourself is pretty hard, but it is doable :) Over stressing about it will only make it more difficult lol

:)

EEEEVERYTHING is going to be just fine :) You're a smart and talented man that has drive and ambition. This is just a temporary frustration. You'll have a better handle on all of this soon :D
