You mean hbgary like stuff? Yeah, they had early versions of that working as far back as 2000. Wasn't called persona then. I think it was a part of vicsim and the backstop software.
I worked for Texas Instruments and Raytheon for 7 years.
Never worked directly for the CIA or NSA or anything like that though.
