Lisa Kirk will be presenting her new work, Backyard Adversaries, a randomly sequenced HD four-channel video installation shot in the historic Hudson Valley. The work follows four children in the game of war, playing dress-up within the lush and dramatic landscape. Kirk's practice investigates the contradictions of consumerism and the aestheticization of formerly-radical political signifiers, current events and the media.
