Dear Texas Patriots,

We have received almost 1,000 signatures on our petition for HB 1937.  Can we double it in the next 24 hours?

Time is quickly running out and the more signatures we have, the more powerful our message!  Click here to sign the online petition if you haven't already.

See below for more action info.  Let's also ring those phones off the hook!

For Liberty and Texas,

Debbie McKee
Interim State Coordinator

Time is Critical: Urge the Senate to Pass this Important Bill

H.B. 1937 has been referred to the Transportation and Homeland Security Committee in the Texas Senate.

But there are only a few days left to get this law passed before the legislative session ends.

NOW is the time to Take Action!

Please forward this e-mail to your friends and then call, fax, or e-mail your State Senator, the Lt. Governor’s office, and the members of the Transportation Committee. Politely ask them to support H.B. 1937 and to pass it quickly out of committee!

SAMPLE MESSAGE (for you to personalize)

Dear Lieutenant Governor / Senator,

I urge you to support H.B. 1937 to curtail the TSA from abusing travelers in Texas. Your action on this measure is critical, as innocent men, women, and children are being violated daily by TSA agents in our states’ airports. The TSA’s trampling of our constitutional liberties must be stopped.

Please vote promptly to ensure that this legislation becomes law.

Respectfully,

[Your Name]
