What does it mean, then, to "quit" Anonymous?

Yeah, I'm tired of the anti-moralfaggotry and anyway I'm about to declare war on the intelligence contracting industry.

What's this I see on Slashdot about you quitting Anonymous? Any truth to that?

Yeah, the same place I was looking at, the thing where you hunt at night with automatic weapons and night vision.

Also, another thing. Raytheon. Major contractor based partly here in Dallas. Has come up a bunch as I go back through hbgary e-mails. Am doing a series for al-jazeera on a classified mass surveillance and propaganda project called Romas/COIN which aaron barr was hoping to win recompete contract for in partnership with mantech, tasc, archimedes global, and even apple and google (with whom they actually met and agreed on the work), plus almost a dozen other firms. Program is multifaceted and involves scanning social networks and other things and using natural language processing to spy on entire populations, particularly in the mid east. May also involve persona management; I can show you my notes so you can get a sense. Or see socialeyez.ae; that's just one set of capabilities they were pursuing to fulfill contract requirements. Also online game companies. The contract was held by northrop grumman and this team intended to take it from them upon renewal but then it was suddenly cancelled with intent of replacing it with something called Odyssey. Anyway, the whole intel contracting industry is a pretty small world and raytheon comes up quite a bit; I'm assessing and will soon have enough info pieced together to show some disturbing activity on their end. Can send you more specifics on them later this week if you'd be interested in discussing a story on them.

After it looked like you wouldn't be able to do the piece, I asked another writer to figure out what was happening with all the pig trapping. I'd seen a story on TV about all the feral pigs in, if memory serves, Flower Mound. So my writer got in touch with the trapper, who works for the city. You know what? Suddenly that stopped trapping. The pigs vanished. So I think that story wound up dying, too.

But now maybe it's not dead. You know where you'd hunt?

Would you still want a pig hunting piece? Going to see about going next week.

I like the way you think. Haven't seen the billboard, though.

You know the billboard on Central from the Christian group that claims world will end on May 21st? You need to put the call out for some wealthy guy to pay to keep up the exact same message for years after the date comes and goes.
