Bulletin from the cause: Educate Girls in Africa

Success! We’re sending 13 girls to high school!

Dear Educate Girls in Africa member,
 
Thank you so much for supporting our project, Send Girls to School in Zimbabwe.  Thanks to the 244 of you who donated, and the 45 of you who promoted this project, we surpassed our goal and raised $3,889 -- enough to provide 13 girls with full high school scholarships for a year in rural Zimbabwe.  Thank you!
 
Rutendo is a girl in our program in Nkayi district, whose family couldn’t afford to send her to school. Recently, she learned she had passed her Advanced Level exams, which will allow her to enroll in the final two years of high school and graduate.
 
“I am feeling excited, totally awesome,” she says. “It’s a miracle for me to reach this level of school, but with Camfed’s help, now I know I can make progress in my life and go far.”
