Project: Operation Freedom Role: Founder and coordinator What was it: The central hub that the majority of the Anonymous attacks on suppressive reigemes was organised, and discussed. It also provided advice for those in countries with internet censorship on how to overcome the restrictions. It was also a platform for citizens of the reigemes to report on their status and some even coordinated protests on the IRC channel. Outcome: With the comprimistation of the Anonops IRC network it closed. However its use began to decline when the uprisings, began to get into full flow and expanded at high speeds through the Arab world. Project: Operation Tunisia Role: Founder and coordinator What was it: An operation that supported the Tunisian uprising as it was growing. We tried and succeded in getting the uprising discussed in mainstream media. Again we provided a platform for communication and ways to circumvent censorship laws. Outcome: With the success of the uprising and the downfall of the regime there was no longer a use for the operation. --- On Wed, 5/11/11, Barrett Brown <barriticus@gmail.com> wrote:
