Dear Barrett Brown,

We understand that you are busy with Operation MetalGear, along with your journalism, but we would like you to get on board with our new operation; Operation NewGen. We had this epiphiany after reading one of your tweets. We thought about how much better it would be if Anonymous broke down into many small groups. We understand if you are having one of those "Thats not going to work" moments. We completely understand. Basically, the "Press Release" (which is more like a release to Anons), will state that guides will be made to show you how to go about creating your small groups, and still staying in touch. This is what we have so far for the letter, much more will be added:

Dear Anonymous,

It has come to our attention that Anonymous has been growing much more centralized lately. We, the Anons of Anonymous, are seeing what this great mighty stronghold is turning into. We know what happens when a large group becomes too large. People start to gain trust, and then this trust is abused. The recent attacks on AnonOps are proving this realization to be true. It is showing that we as Anons need to break down into small and more secure groups. By doing this, we can focus power strictly on what the group is needing of. This operation is not to destroy AnonOps as a whole, but to slowly make it just a place where people from different and smaller groups can talk about what there group is doing, as well as being able to talk about recruiting into their groups. (A diagram will be included for the simple minded) As you become part of this operation, we will share ways that you can create your group and good tools to use for your group.

We are Anonymous.

Shit will be added to this letter. :3

We will not centralize.

We are legion.

We do not forgive.

We do not forget.

Expect us.

All together, we are asking you to help organize and execute the above, along with whatever objectives we bring into this op while we plan it out.

Sincerely,

Your friendly neighborhood M1DN1TE and the Phoenix Legion (One of the first decentralized Anonymous groups)
