You asked, perhaps facetiously, if I could proofread your work. I do love editing---that's why Danica McKellar called me "the incomparable, brilliant Jonathan Farley" in her latest book---but academic papers are orders of magnitude less exciting to proofread than, say, Barrett Brown's book. But if you're writing an op-ed, I'd be happy to lend you my eyes. Having said that, I did find a typo on page 100 of "Magic and Impotence in the Middle Ages," by Catherine Rider (by comparing the Latin with the English translation, if I recall!).
By the way, are you working with Vicky Kearns at PUP? She approached me about writing a book on math and terrorism, but I never had the time.
Cheers, Jonathan
P.S. I was a guest on a May 3, 2011 BBC program to discuss the death of Osama bin Laden. I'm on briefly from 20:36 (20 minutes, 36 seconds) to 23:37. Two of the other guests were U.S. Congressman Silvestre Reyes and British Member of Parliament Khalid Mahmoud.
(I didn't realize I was on TV, since my other BBC interviews were always on the radio, except for the BBC World News Television special on the first anniversary of September 11.)
