Certainly. Here's the press release we did yesterday on the Sony matter: http://i.imgur.com/2tJJ2.jpg.As for this sort of thing happening in the future, and the vulnerability we face due to the nature of our movement, some of us are now advising people to found small, cohesive groups by which to pursue these same issues in a more efficient manner. This is directed towards both Anons and others who are interested in fighting back against corrupt institutions using the best means that are available to us. This is the current version of the guide, which will soon be revamped with notes produced by a couple of the people who helped to organize Chanology: http://pastebin.com/H1NEgdfjOn Thu, May 5, 2011 at 11:43 AM, Bernard Keane <bkeane@privatemedia.com.au> wrote:
Gday Barrett - going to do a story for Crikey today Australian time on Sonys attempt to blame Anonymous for its own remarkable incompetence. I want to note the Chamber leaks attempt to discredit you and how this is consistent with the suite of tactics identified in the HB Gary documents. While not to suggest Sony is directly linked to either the Chamber leaks business or the clutch of corporates uncovered via HB Gary, its clear theyre trying to direct attention away from not merely a massive security failure but their own lack of transparency I suspect as Anonymous takes on more high-profile corporate targets it will become the go-to party for corporates wanting to distract from their own failures the media readily recycles their claims, as were seeing with Sony. Any thoughts along those lines for the article?
Hope alls well, B
