Here's his number: 240 353 7572. His name is Don, I spoke to him last week. The number was provided to me by Backtrace Security, a small group of people who hate Anon with a passion and who threatened to dox my ex-girlfriend and her daughter. They have put out demonstrably false information on me and Anonymous and harass Anons on Twitter via the @FakeGreggHoush Twitter account. Their founder has been exposed as Jennifer Emick, a Wiccan who holds a grudge against Gregg Housh, one of the founders of Chanology, and who seems to have been upset about being made fun of on the internet quite a bit. FakeGreggHoush/Emick also goes by the name Asherah and hangs out with the "patriot" hacker th3J35t3r at his HQ at
irc.2600.net #jester. th3J35t3r has himself admitted to launching DDOS attacks against Wikileaks and other "approved" targets but has never been investigated. So, basically, the FBI is getting tips from someone who has admittedly gotten things wrong, who is involved in harassing females uninvolved in Anonymous, and whose partner, "zud," threatened my ex-girlfriend due to her being an atheist who spends time helping "sandniggers," and who associates with a known criminal who avoids federal attention by going after approved targets. Don himself says that I'm being investigated by FBI agents in California, presumably involved in the grand jury that convened February 10; I've asked him to have them get in touch so I can explain that Backtrace is not exactly a reliable source of information and he says they've intended to get in touch with me but I've heard from none of them. Let me know if you'd like to see supporting conversation logs, links, etc backing up what I've explained here. Thanks.

I'm awake now so you can try to call me back if you'd like. Here's my statement:
The hackers could have very well left a file on their servers called "Congress" and carrying the slogan "We investigate steroid use by baseball players in the midst of two wars."

Hi Barrett,
Sorry I didn't get the chance to call you back yesterday but
just left you a message. (For some strange reason I am able to call you from my
blackberry but not from my work landline.) Anyway, I had wanted to ask you about
a couple of things but then there's been a development today that I wanted to
run past you on deadline, specifically the Sony Corp letter to Congress which
says that the data-breach intruders had left a file on their servers called
"Anonymous" and carrying the slogan "we are legion." It does acknowledge it
could be the work of a clever thief, however. Is there any response on behalf of
Anonymous that you would want to give on that?
I also had a couple of quick follow up questions. Let me know
when you're free to talk and I'll call you back. Or, feel free to call me on 011

Also, in case you're interested, OpIran re-launched on Sunday, we
took down a number of government sites and have initiated a new campaign by
which to provide encryption tools to dissidents while also encouraging
individuals from around the world to join in on DDOS attacks against online
assets of pro-regime groups like the Iranian Cyber Army. Info here:

Basically, I want to make Anonymous more of a mainstream
phenomenon and prompt far more people to engage in information warfare against
dictatorships and all states that employ oppressive means against their own
citizens.

I haven't been involved in the Sony affair other than
hanging around in the OpSony IRC channel a bit every now and then; it's not
one of my areas of interest. I have no evidence that anyone associated with
Anonymous was responsible for this hack, and it certainly wasn't anyone from
the team that did HBGary. Anonops put out a press release denying
responsibility, as you may know. Having said that, it's very possible that
the incident is nonetheless related to the overall campaign insomuch as that
a well-publicized attack by Anon obviously prompts a great deal of attention
by others. It's also possible that a group of criminal hackers took the
opportunity to pull off this heist and leave Anonymous as prime suspect - a
Bloomberg reporter just told me that Sony is talking about blaming us and
will potentially go public with that accusation soon.
Meanwhile, we may be launching an attack on Gamma International in
retaliation for their attempt to provide surveillance and IT intrusion
capabilities to Mubarak regime; this was just decided a little while ago.
Right now the fellow who would be launching that attack is having to use his
bot army to fend off an attack against our Anonops IRC server, which is
being hit from five IPs using 7GBs each - an unusually powerful attack.
There are a number of suspects on this one, as there are plenty of entities
that would like to see us disrupted right now in particular.

Cassell-
We're going after this U.K firm, Gamma International, due to its
actions in support of the Mubarak regime during the revolt, as well as due
to its likely overall role in the methodology we refer to as Metal
Gear.

Thanks so much, and noted on the 'doxing' as it relates to
the individual employees. How is that info on the employees gathered -
by hacking into email? And, can you send me a link to where it is being
posted on the Net?
And,
is there a statement from you and/or Anonymous about the reason for the
action against Sony and the employees?
Thanks too for the info
on the other events, will check it out.

All of that is true except that the attacks on individual
employees aren't DDOS attacks, but rather investigations into their
activities followed by "doxing," which entails the posting of their
information on the internet. I'm not particularly involved in OpSony so
I haven't been following closely. Also, I'm in New York this month
as I'm speaking tomorrow at a rally organized by my group Project
PM and several other entities, including prominent Anonymous
participants like Gregg Housh and anti-war activist John Penley.
Speakers will include the head of National Lawyers Guild and a former
Army psyops officer. We're also holding meetings throughout the week
pursuant to the building of a larger coalition by which to fight back
against those who oppose information freedom efforts such as Wikileaks.
Rolling Stone and several documentary crews will be following many of
the proceedings. More info:
I'll be making an announcement about the next step in
Operation Metal Gear, which is what I've been most heavily involved in
for the past month and which we launched via recorded phone calls to
executives of Booz Allen Hamilton and former NSA director Mike
McConnell. More info on Metal Gear:

Hi Barrett
I wanted to check in with you regarding
Sony. Is it true to say Anonymous has launched DDOS attacks against
Sony in retaliation for the legal action Sony took against Hotz and
Egorenkov under the name OpSony? And, if so, when did the attacks
start and against which Web sites?
And, has Anonymous also
started launching DDOS attacks against individual Sony employees? if
so, which individuals and what are the DDOS attacks
against? And, when did those attacks start?
Thanks,
