me: you remember me at all? We were going to go on a date but we never got around to it and then I moved to Texas
me: fun was had by all
me: anyway, just wanted to say hi, take it easy
Jessica: yeah, i do
Jessica: hi
Jessica: how's texas?
me: It's good, I don't get out much, been spending most of my time working on Anonymous stuff and other projects
me: I came up to NYC for about a week last month, though
Jessica: cool, sounds good
Jessica: the hacker group?
me: Only a few of us are actually hackers
me: And we're shifting emphasis from hacking/DDOSing to other forms of attacks
me: research-oriented stuff, working with a lot of journalists to promote investigation into little-known topics
me: sorry, DDOS is a distributed denial of service attack used to bring down websites
me: we've been hitting Iran over the past 48 hours
Jessica: very cool
me: I don't know how to do any of that, though, I serve as a sort of propagandist
me: how's work and everything?
Jessica: pretty good
Jessica: no longer at slate
Jessica: doing stuff for the daily, freelancing
me: word
me: I started writing for Guardian and al-Jazeera but now I'm kind of forced into doing film
