hey barrett,
perhaps the prob with HFC was simply that your targets, espec. bennett,
were already so self-evidently discredited as to need no more stabbing. When i was reading
it i couldn't help but wish you were lambasting brooks, bretibart, kaus, stossel, samuelson.
everyone has their likely list i suppose.

Thanks for getting me in touch with Scott. He called the first chapter brilliant but doesn't think there's a market for it, which is pretty much what the other couple of agents I tried said.
