Hope all is well. I'm currently in NYC ahead of a press conference/rally at which I and other Anons will be speaking along with two former U.S. intel officers, the head of the NAtional Lawyer's Guild, mathematician Jonathan Farley, and some prominent local activists. A couple of us will be giving a briefing on what we've discovered on Metal Gear thus far. We're also now working with Nicky Hegar, the investigative journalist who first exposed Echelon in 1996 in his book Secret Power; let me know if you'd like to get in touch with him, as he's had a major head start on this subject matter and maintains a solid network of informants and other journalists who have pursued related matters for quite a while as well. Also wanted to give you these compilations of data showing additional firms that were involved in the persona management/attribution/surveillance efforts. Apple was involved, for instance.
I think you'll find that this info will be more than sufficient for an authoritative article on the nature and extent of what is being uncovered. Also, I'm doing a Skype interview tomorrow with The Guardian's documentary team, which is apparently doing a film on Anonymous, Wikileaks, and the like; I'll be talking about Metal Gear to the extent that I am able. Meanwhile we expect the general story to get a large boost over the next week as we leverage the press coverage of our rally into focus on these issues.
