Why don't you send a quick note with link to your D article to this Dallas agent? He just got a book and movie deal for a 28 year old and when I met him sounded very interested in you. Wouldn't hurt? Tell him I gave him my card at a luncheon last fall with your info on it.

Just got back from a luncheon, talked to a very successful literary agent who lives here, told him MSTG is looking to place his second book. His name is David Hale Smith, his website is http://www.dhsliterary.com/ You can see that he has been very successful with big NY publishers, he said a lot of his clients also do ghostwriting, blogging, etc. He sounded very interested in you, said if you are interested to email him directly at david@dhsliterary.com, no attachments of book proposal yet, just a quick query with a couple of sentences about yourself, links to your published work (Dodos link on Amazon, VF, huffpost, d magazine, etc), and a brief overview of the situation with your new book, maybe that you "are working on getting rights back from my previous flaky publisher," or something like that.
