Good evening Barrett,

My name is Elliott Shor.

I write to you as a young economist deeply concerned with our economy. I am familiar with some of your work. This is why I am seeking your assistance. Because I feel your knowledge and understanding of the political economy is greater than my own, I will forego ‘what concerns me’ about the economy and ask your advice regarding ‘how I can contribute.’ My thoughts are that I can best direct my resources towards engaging and educating the younger generations to the challenges we’re facing. I have come to the conclusion that too many economists fail to consider the issues objectively. Also, I believe many skilled economists lack the ‘flair’ necessary to attract the interest of the younger populations.

The vehicle I have chosen to approach this task is a web blog. Here is the address. http://eman-elliotteconomics.blogspot.com/

I would certainly be interested in your feedback regarding opportunities for improvement. If you find that my blog has value, I would ask you to help me by forwarding it to interested parties.

I also have a fun and crazy marketing idea I think you may enjoy listening to. Ultimately, I am just trying to help.

Thank you.

Elliott Shor
