Gidday Tim,

My name is Max Halupka. I am currently completing my honours year at Flinders University, South Australia. The topic of my thesis (and subsequent PhD thesis) is the ‘Progression of Anonymous’ (though the PhD thesis will be extended to include a wider analysis of esoteric internet communities).

I recently read your article ‘How Barrett Brown Helped Overthrow Tunisia's Government’ and was quiet intrigued by your portrayal of Mr Brown. I was hoping that you would be able to put me in contact with Mr. Brown so that I might discuss with him the developmental stages of Anonymous. Furthermore, I would be interested to hear your interpretation of recent structural developments within the collective; the ad hoc hierarchy emerging within anonops.net for example. Any help that you are able to provide would be much appreciated. Academic research on Anonymous is severely under represented; something that I am looking to rectify.
